The kitchen and living area in the private quarters of a winery were completely redesigned and rebuilt. As a contrast to the beautiful old wooden beams and hardwood floors, the clients opted for a modern, refined kitchen design. The kitchen run and island were deliberately separated visually: the run integrates quietly into the wall, while the island stands freely in the room as an independent element. A light grey for the island fronts and an aubergine-brown for the kitchen run create strong contrasts with the wood – while bringing both calm and warmth to the space. To make sure the children can always be part of the action, we integrated a counter into the island with a custom recess for the Bock bench.
